C/2019 E3 (ATLAS) is a long-period comet discovered on March 5, 2019 by ATLAS (Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System).[1] It has a semimajor axis of 1048 AU and will reach its perihelion of 10.36 AU on November 12, 2023.[2] C/2019 E3 (ATLAS) is the third comet discovered with a perihelion beyond 10 AU, the other two being 167P/CINEOS and C/2003 A2 (Gleason).[3]
