The ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET) assembles under its fellowship, engineers and technologists, policy makers, the public and the private sectors from ASEAN member states.[1].
Introduction
ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET) was established in 2004[2], and registered with the ASEAN Secretariat as an ASEAN Secretariat-affiliated Civil Society Organization (CSO) in 2007[3].
Fellowships
Fellowship of the Academy is awarded to eminent individuals from academia, research institutes, industry, and government who have demonstrated successful leadership or outstanding contributions to engineering and technology over an extended period.
Post-Nominal Letters of Fellowships
Each grade of Fellowship of the Academy is be entitled to use the respective post-nominal letters as follows:
- D. Hon. FAAET —– Distinguished Honorary Fellow
- Hon. FAAET —– Honorary Fellow
- D.FAAET —– Distinguished Fellow
- SFAAET —– Senior Fellow
- FAAET —– Ordinary Fellow
- FAAET(F) —– Foreign Fellow
- AFAAET —– Associate Fellow
