Editors Asleep At The Switch?

This article is concise and clear.

Where are the Wikipedia editors who should have been subjecting it to multiple boxed comments demanding in-line attributions, a fuzzy introduction to put everything into context, and a rewrite because this is obviously written like an advertisement for mathematics?
