Lead

The phasing of the lead section is confusing and the grammar could be improved. What does "...whilst those data are not architecturally supposed to be visible across" actually mean? 83.104.249.240 (talk) 09:30, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Assume it was supposed to read "which". —DIYeditor (talk) 11:34, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2011

What is the significance of 2011? What was the architecture change that introduced the flaw? 83.104.249.240 (talk) 09:34, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Presumably there was some change to the Hyper-threading architecture in Sandy Bridge? Do none of these articles address that or which specific CPUs are affected? —DIYeditor (talk) 11:36, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe not just hyperthreading... It is a fair question. —DIYeditor (talk) 12:58, 15 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
