Technology-enhanced active learning

Technology-enhanced active learning, or TEAL, is a new method of teaching pioneered at MIT[1] as an alternative to the traditional style of lecture halls. It is currently in use at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, North Carolina State University, University of Colorado, Harvard University, and the University of Maryland.[2]


Technology-enhanced active learning is now being spread across the globe particularly in India while Schools, Colleges, Institutes and other educational establishments are investing [3] drastically to create smart classes for example Up-gradation of N.P. Bengali Girls & N.P. Girls Schools, Gole Market into School of Excellence by allocating government aided funds. Products that can be used in TEAL are Interactive kiosk Tablet computer based smart classes video conferencing /web casting Interactive whiteboard etc.

These products are used to enhance quality of learning.
