The 2019 IAAF World Relays will be held in Yokohama, Japan from May 11 to May 12, 2019.[1] Two new events were established for 2019, both mixed events: the 2 × 2 × 400 m relay and the shuttle hurdles relay.[2] The first event replaces the 4 × 800 m relay that featured at previous events.[3]
