Blocks in the Signpost enable the usage of a two column layout, where the main content is on the left and some other content is positioned in a rightsize floating sidebar. Any usage of this template needs to be balanced with Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/Templates/Signpost-block-end-v2. Sidebar templates end a block and start a block automatically. If you want to avoid the sidebar, you can end the existing block and start a new block with {{Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/Templates/Signpost-block-start-v2|fullwidth}} to make use of the full canvas.
