The following is adapted from TonyBallioni’s RfA criteria:

1. Not a jerk

2. Has a clue

3. 1 year / 1000 edits (more concrete version of “have a record”)

For WP:RfBs, one additional criterion applies:

4. Has been a competent admin

Conclusion

RfA is a horrible and broken process process because it’s so hard to pass. Jimbo said adminship is “not a big deal”, but RfA has become one. Let’s change that.
