Synthesis Design + Architecture (also known as SDA), is an architecture and design firm based in Los Angeles, California led by Alvin Huang[1].

Notable projects include the 3D-printed Durotaxis Chair for Stratasys[2], the data-driven Data Moire installation for IBM Watson[3], the CNC-milled Chelsea Workspace[4], the experimental DRL10 Pavilion in London[5], the solar-powered Pure Tension Pavilion for Volvo Cars[6], and the Groove at CentralWorld in Bangkok[7].

The firm was honored with the Presidential Emerging Practice Award by the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles Chapter in 2016.[8] They also received the R+D Award from Architect Magazine in 2015[9], and was featured as a Next Progressive by Architect Magazine in 2014.[10]
