Data auditing is the process of conducting a data audit to assess how company's data is fit for given purpose. This involves profiling the data and assessing the impact of poor quality data on the organization's performance and profits.Analytics of the data helps the company make executive decisions. The process of data auditing may vary depending on the company and the goal of the audit. Many companies use data auditing if they want to dig deeper for information to improve their company.
Analyzing Data Companies determine what type of data is being collected and determine if it is relevant. In order to make a successful data audit a company must extract certain information from the data. Diagnostic of the data can reveal why something happened and how to avoid its reassurance[1]. Predictive analysis of the data can help determine future events or patterns for the company. The analysis of data is an essential factor when conducting a data audit. Data analysis helps get a better understanding of the type of data being collected and how it is being used. Within a data set there are many errors or imperfections that can be found.
Enhancements of Data Removal of unwanted and inaccurate data is taken place to insure there is an accurate data set. Some companies may have large amounts data, which in result has more inaccurate information and data unnecessary.
