An EPG, or Electronic Programme Guide, is a broadcast programme schedule, typically broadcast alongside digital television or radio signals.

By navigating through the EPG on the receiving device, normally a television screen or radio display, users can typically see more information about the current programmes or future programmes. If the device is capable of it, the EPG can enable one-touch recording of the programme.

The EPG allows the viewer to take advantage of features such as programme summaries, search by subject or channel, immediate access to the selected programme, reminder and parental control functions.

EPGs are typically broadcast within the broadcast stream, or alongside it in a special data channel. Users of some systems, notably TiVo, use a dial-up modem to retrieve EPG listings from a third-party server.
