The Robotics and Automation Laboratory (RAL) is part of the School of Engineering of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (Pontifical Catholic University of Chile).

Its mission "is to provide effective autonomous robotic systems and automation solutions for industry by conducting high-quality applications-driven research, development work and education."[1]
