The external link for HQnX are suspended. Link are dead, for now.... --KymyA (talk) 07:29, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is a beautiful algorithm: the combination of precalculated optimisation and fast lookup on render is very elegant, and the results are stunning. -- Gigacephalus (talk) 17:07, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I replaced the reference to https://code.google.com/archive/p/hqx as I moved this project to github. Also note this was not the original project, it was a port of Maxim Stepin code to use DevIL for image loading/saving and to more modern C. I did this cause his site was dead and it was hard to get copies of his code. It is such a great algorithm I had to preserve it. Besides switching to DevIL and adding a command line interface it pretty much as it was originally. Grom358 (talk) 19:27, 26 October 2018 (UTC) '[reply]
