How to Operate with a Blown Mind is the debut studio album by English electronic music group Lo Fidelity Allstars. It was released on 25 May 1998 in the United Kingdom by Skint Records and in the United States by Columbia Records.
In a rundown of "intelligent big beat", Simon Reynolds called the album an "oxymoronic masterpiece of 'darkside big beat'."[4] The NME named it the 21st best album of 1998.[5]
