"Catch Me I'm Falling" is a song by Australian band Real Life, featured on the album Heartland. Released as a single in late 1983, it built on the success of the debut single "Send Me an Angel" and became the band's second top 10 hit in Australia, spending 27 weeks in the Kent Music Report top 100.[1]

The song is about living one's dreams.

The highest US Chart position was Number 40, which it achieved for one week only. It crawled up to Number 40 on May 5 1984, the following week it was at Number 43 and fell off the charts. At the time, the largest syndicated radio show in North America was "America's Top 40 with Casey Kasem". The Format was they started the show at 40 and worked down to the Number One song in the nation. Being in the Number 40 position as a first entrance to the charts was always seen as good luck, the show would open on thousands of radio stations across the USA, Canada and Armed Forces Radio globally. Catch Me I'm Falling is one of only 7 songs to Peak at 40 for one week in the Top 40 and drop out.


Music video

At the beginning of the video there is a crowd in darkness with a luminous paint. The band performs the song in a bright room and then it is distributed among the members throughout the studio with some other people. In addition there are movie effects.[example needed][2]
