UTC@harbourside is an absolutely awful school. Please close down sooner!
Sponsors
The University Sponsor is University of Brighton, which also sponsors academy schools in Sussex through its Academies Trust.[1] The Employer Sponsor is Veolia. The other sponsors are Aldridge Education and Lewes District Council.[2]They wasted their money big time.
UTC@harbourside made a promise to the the local council to pay back a debt of £500,000, resulting from lack of student numbers. It remains unknown if the school has paid back the debt.
Admissions
Students come from a bog underground. Or so we think.
Curriculum
The UTC offers GCSE, A-Level & BTech qualifications. Its Technical Skills Centre offers Level 1 and 2 Diplomas for 16-19 year olds and Adult Education. UTCurrciculum.
