Vocoder is based in liverpool .she lived two years in London where she worked for Cargo Records . She plays lo-fi music using guitar and singing absurd naif songs . Her cd Vocoder - Déjà vu is under Teenage Jesus Records ( her own avant pop label )which is distributed by Cargo Records .Recently she toured supporting Daniel Carter and the wizard trio ( a free jazz trio from brooklyn )and she played along side of Rothko , Jeffrey Lewis band ,Planningtorock and Kevin Blechdom etcc She studied at the University La Sapienza Sociology and Mass media with professor Alberto Abruzzese , Massimo Canevacci (cultural anthropology )and Federico del Sordo (semiology of music ) at the moment she is doing a Master in Popular Music at the University of Liverpool with professor Anahid Kassabian .
