Design Week magazine is published by Centaur media PLC (listed on the London Stock Exchange, and is a UK-based magazine for the design industry

Launched in 1986, its readers come from all disciplines of commercial design, ranging from retail, products and packaging to graphics, interiors, exhibitions and digital

In November 2006 it is due to re-launch its website, previously affiliated to Mad.co.uk, to stand-alone as designweek.co.uk

It is a business publication, and as a weekly and non-glossy stands aside from many design-focused publications (ie, Wallpaper*, Creative Review, etc.). Its main competitors include Brand Republic and, to a far lesser extent, fellow Centaur titles Marketing Week and New Media Age.

As well as the main magazine Design Week publishes several supplements, which include The Top 100 Consultancy; The Hot 50 supplement; and Creative Survey

Design Week's publisher is Morag Welham and the editor is Lynda Relph-Knight.
