"Mine" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter Alice Glass, released on June 15, 2018, through Loma Vista. The song was written by Glass, Jupiter Keyes and Matt Rad, and produced by the latter two.[1]
Release
Glass announced the release of "Mine" on June 5, ten days prior to the release of the song. In the announcement, she stated that an exclusive viewing party of the video will be held on June 12 at Faultline Bar in Los Angeles, which will include DJ sets by her, Lulo, Matt Pernicano and Danny Lethal, as well as drag performances of Glass' songs.[2] The song was premiered on Triple J on June 14, a day prior to his release.[3][4] Glass stated that the song is about her experiences with self-harm.[5]
Music video
The music video for "Mine" will be premiered on June 12 at an exclusive viewing party in Los Angeles, and will be officially released on June 15. The video was directed by frequent collaborator Lucas David, marking his debut as a director, and stars American drag queen Violet Chachki.[6][2][7]
