The Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management (CIEM) is a Private Institute in Tollygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
The Institute was founded in 2003.[1][2] It is located in the heart of Kolkata, Kudghat, which is a part of the prime city Tollygunge. The college is about 500 meters away from Kudghat (Netaji) metro station.
Campus
The institute, with 5.08 acres (20,600 m2) of land, has lecture rooms, one seminar room, around 50 computer terminals inside computer labs, a library, along with other essential amenities as cafeteria, common-room for playing carrom and table-tennis and one small play ground. The Campus is Named as "Prasanta Sur Campus".[3]
Financial aid
Aid is available, with ten per cent of students given a full waiver of fees, and another ten per cent have half the fees waived. This is arranged on a merit basis, in accordance with the regulations of the Government of West Bengal Higher Education Department.
