Project Amad is a covert and ongoing[1] Iranian scientific project intended to develop a functioning nuclear warhead. In 2018, the project was revealed by Israel and confirmed by President Donald Trump of the United States.[2][3]

President Trump said it would be a factor in deciding whether to withdraw from the Iran Deal.[4]
