For this sentence ("We're Not Makin' Love Anymore" was released as the album's lead single on September 14, 1989 while "Someone That I Used to Love" was distributed as the second and final one in 1989), I would use “and” instead of “while” and add a comma after the first instance of “1989” to separate the two parts of the sentence.
I am not certain about this sentence (However, it was commercially successful as it topped that charts in both Norway and Sweden.), specifically the “it was commercially successful” as it is a little subjective. I think that it is better to have the parts on the charts and certification stand by itself.

The structure of the second and third paragraphs is somewhat strange. Would it be better to make the release of “We’re Not Makin’ Love Anymore” as a single into its own paragraph as you have done with "Someone That I Used to Love” as the second single. It was just a little weird to read the second paragraph as it goes from a general overview of the album to a part on the first single.

I do not see any major issues with this, but do think that a topic sentence would be helpful here?
