Page date is out of date in Template "Iraqi insurgency detailed map"

It is not clear whether "Page Date" applies to the map itself, but otherwise the map is undated. It is important to know the "as of" of the map. It is best not to have to resort to the Archives to guess at the "official" date. Note: Since the status of all locations cannot be realistically know in "real time," there is obviously some art to picking a date, if date of last entry is not deemed "best." --- Thanks, PNA

Desert villages changed without a source

why are desert villages in Al-Anbar governorate north of the euphrates river and desert villages west of Salaheddine governorate changed from ISIS controlled to Iraqi Government control,is there a reliable source for this change,because i am unaware of such an offensive occurring at this time.Alhanuty (talk) 17:48, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It was implied in a couple of other sources, including Twitter and a report cited in the main campaign article. The news source reported that ISIL only holds territory in Iraq's Anbar Province, between Rawa and the Syrian border, which means that ISIL no longer controls any territory at all in the Nineveh Governorate. Ain Zalah Oil Field

The Ain Zalah Oil Field is currently depicted as being under Peshmerga control, along with a couple of neighboring villages. However, this report implies that the Peshmerga has already withdrawn from that district entirely? So who currently holds the Ain Zalah District? Üzümlü border crossing

Can sombody add the black wings to the Iraq Turkey Üzümlü border crossing. Üzümlü border crossing is already on the map but I cant add the black wings to mark it as a border crossing.
