Plutodes transmutata is a moth of the Geometridae family.[1] It is found in India, Nepal and probably in Sri Lanka.[2]
Wingspan of male is 27mm. Head rufous, whereas vertex and shaft of antennae whitish. Collar yellow. Thorax and abdomen rufous colored. Fore wings and hind wings are typical Plutodes with bright yellow and a small rufous patch. A similar large, rufous patch on whole outer area. Outer patch has sinous inner edges extending to inner margin of fore wing and costa of hind wing. .[3][4]
