At Compound, we’re making real estate investing simple and accessible to all.
Our signature product is the ReTF (‘Ree-Tee-Eff’) or Real Estate Thematic Fund, a proprietary investment product that combines the thematic investment strategies of an ETF (exchange traded fund) with the tax and diversification benefits of a REIT (real estate investment trust).
We’ve created ReTFs to provide investors with targeted real estate exposure in markets with traditionally high barriers of entry.
A few quick facts about ReTFs:
ReTFs pool investors’ capital to acquire a portfolio of properties within an ultra-specific investment target (for example: Manhattan apartments or Southern California hotels) The ReTFs themselves are publicly reporting companies that have undergone review and qualification from the SEC. Compound intends to list each ReTF on NASDAQ or the NYSE as they become eligible. ReTFs are taxed as real estate investment trusts. Each ReTF we create begins with an initial public offering. Investors can purchase shares of a ReTF through the Compound app/website or through our network of broker-dealers.
