Lemis (also known as Lehat Lemis) is a Bangladeshi playback singer. She can be seen in various films such as Agnee, Aaro Bhalobashbo Tomay, Agnee 2, Niyoti, Premi O Premi, Nagar Mastan, Maa, Target, Ratrir, etc. Her multiple film roles have led her to work with other prominent musicians such as Bollywood playback singer Nakash Aziz and composer Savvy Gupta. Career

Lemis' introduction to the world of television began when she competed as a contestant on 'Notun Kuri', a Bangladeshi Reality TV Show airing on BTV. After her debut, she was featured in an episode of Ityadi. Her first major career achievement was singing the title track of the 2014 film, "Agnee" for Mahiya Mahi, an endeavor that brought her nationwide success. The popularity of this song led to her receiving the nickname: 'Agni Kanya', which means The Girl of Fire. Lemis also notable sang "Preme Porechi," a popular rock song. It was composed by popular female composer, Kazi Nowrin. The song also appeared in a mixed album. [2] On April 14th, 2016 she published her first solo album, composed by Shafiq Tuhin, containing three original songs. She has also lent her voice to films such as: 'Maa' and 'Target' (item song featuring Naila Nayem) [1] In 2018, she released "Ki Je Koro Moyna", a duet with Asif Akbar in the film 'Ratrir Jatri'. Controversies

On December 16th, 2017, Lemis went missing for an entire day. Her family filed a missing person's report with the local police because there was a communication lapse en masse. Their inability to reach to her mobile phone added to the uncertainty. After much speculation, her closest associates confirmed that this communication lapse was typical behavior for her. Her associates know her to be very whimsical, having previously disappeared multiple times, for several days at a time. [3]
