Damn Vulnerable Linux was a Linux distribution formed from Debian with the goal of being an intentionally vulnerable system for practice/teaching purposes in regard to Network and Computer Security. It has been discontinued.[1]

DVL is based on Slackware, Not on Debian. Somehow i am unable to edit the text above.
