PLOScast is a monthly interview audio podcast hosted by Public Library of Science (PLOS) staff researcher Elizabeth Seiver. Episodes range in length from 35–60 minutes, and consist of in-depth conversations with innovators in Open Access , scientific publishing, scholarly communications,[ 1] and related fields.[ 2] [ 3]
Guests have included Ivan Oransky of Retraction Watch , Alice Meadows of ORCID ,[ 4] Hilda Bastian of NCBI , Konrad Förstner and Matthias Fromm of Open Science Radio ,[ 5] Tracy Teal of Data Carpentry,[ 6] and historian Aileen Fyfe of University of St Andrews .[ 7]
Each episode includes a short introduction at the top, followed by a detailed interview-style discussion.
