Peter Norton Computing, Inc., was a software company founded by Peter Norton. One of the most notable programs it produced is Norton Commander. In 1990, it was acquired by Symantec. The company's - as well as the founder's - name lives on in the various Norton products of Symantec, including Norton AntiVirus.
