API's

Many Java APIs that are NOT listed in this article

I'm wondering why are there so many different and very popular Java APIs (such as JDBC, AWT, Swing, RMI and many more) that aren't listed in this article? Do they really belong to some different category, or is it just the article that isn't complete?
