Intro

This is an organically grown module: it started out small and simple, but over time various bits got added, then rewritten and trimmed, all at different times and in different styles, so the result is probably quite unreadable. Be warned before approaching the code.

The major items I've got on the to-do list are (sorry, no improvements in readability down the pipe!):

  • Revamp styles and classes in accordance with mw:Extension:TemplateStyles, whenever that extension becomes available on the English wikipedia (check at Special:Version)
  • Make lang= invoke Module:Lang, whenever that has settled
  • Rewrite the bletcherous parser function. This will make more sense if done at a time when we will be able to use (as an extension or a module) either an XML parser, or at least a proper regex engine.

All these things are dependent on the presence of external factors, so the main task at the moment is to wait until they become available. – Uanfala (talk) 20:28, 12 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
