- Keep, the term exists and needs an entry, at least in support of other things needing the term. Not unlike the other things I've been working on for the wikipedia like Webtop and Office 2.0. Thanks for the criticism. But it gets bizarre sometimes: I see more stuff about what's not supposed to be in wikipedia than what is supposed to be here. Help! - This article, entitled "What the heck is a web operating system?", would beg to differ. See also Internet Operating Systems. Uncle G 12:19, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Keep, see WebOS for several platforms to which this term has been applied. I suggest keeping WebOS for the projects by that specific name and using this article for the concept (including examples at Internet Operating Systems, which is an essay). Gazpacho 21:20, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

- Delete - Between Office 2.0, webtop and this there seems to be something a bit odd going on at the moment. Artw 19:07, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Links to Web 3.0 seem to crop up in all of those articles as well. Artw 20:59, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. Term invented here. Unrelated to WebOS project. Pavel Vozenilek 22:16, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- No, it was not invented here. myWebOS used the phrase in 1999.[1] Most of the exlinks on the WebOS page are not related to the WebOS project either. Gazpacho 22:56, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
DeleteMerge with Internet Operating Systems -never heard of a web operating system, how can it exist?Maybe if it is something related to HTML or a server-side language then it could be argued that they are web-operating systems, but the actual term of an operating system wouldn't fit this description.Matthuxtable 11:56, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
