Bukit Merah Public Library is a public library located at Bukit Merah Central. It is the first branch library to have an Audio Visual (AV) section[1] and would be relocated to VivoCity on 2018.[2]

History
Originally called Bukit Merah Branch Library, it serves the residents of Tanjong Pagar, Bukit Merah, Tiong Bahru and Telok Blangah. On 28 December 1983, the then Minister-without-Portfolio and Member of Parliament for Bukit Timah Mr Lim Chee Onn officially opened the library. The next day, the library was open to public.[1]
Rename
The library was renamed as Bukit Merah Community Library when National Library became a statutory board on 1995.[1]
Relocation
The library would be relocated to VivoCity on 2018, providing Singaporeans with greater convenience and accessibility to public libraries.[2]
