Indian Association for Research in Computing Science [IARCS]

IARCS is an institution run by a group of persons engaged in computer science in one way or the other. It prepares students for the International Olympiad for Informatics (IOI) which is held every year at international level.

If you are a teacher or anyway connected to computer science, you can join the group with a certain amount of fee. Even students undergoing their graduation can join the institution.

The members of the group basically conduct programming contest within India every year to get a pool of students who can compete at the international level. There are three rounds to get selected into the final team. The final team is selected from a group of students by their performance at the Training Camp held every year.

IARCS has also initiated a new program to teach the teachers as a way of spreading knowledge down to the grassroots level.
