I am a vocalist whose musical inclination lies principally on the progressive sides of both rock and metal/nu-metal. I intend to contribute to musical articles, mainly those concerning the voice.
I also study mathematics, linguistics, and computer science and will contribute to Wikipedia along those lines, if I feel qualified.

The Love of My Life - Music
- A Perfect Circle is a huge influence on me as a musician. I love so much of their work. True, I can't connect with some of their songs at all, but their overall progressive sound is great. Actually it's not fair to label them with any single genre, but they sure sound new and unlike anything else I've ever heard, so progressive is definitely one of their traits in my book. The way that Maynard James Keenan sings and moves when singing with APC is very similar to my way (translated: we both look funny singing), and is validation for my sometimes tender self-esteem. I do have to distance myself from the way he dresses when singing with Tool. Singing with Tool, I've seen him singing in his boxers (or what looked like boxers) with half his body painted black. I've also seen him sing wearing a bra and strange white paint on his face. He said the lesson to be learned is to "think for yourself." Well, it worked, lol, it worked quite well, but you gotta admit, those are some pretty freaky outfits.
