Merger?

This has been on the table since May, unless someone makes a compelling case otherwise I will merge it in a week's time. --Eralam (talk) 21:17, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose life has happened, since I'm still able to do this 11 days later. More seriously, have a look at some of the other articles in the series (I discuss this in a post, here). It is in the process of differentiation, and I think it unfair to just lump everything in to one article. Surely, comp phys would need to be differentiated from sci comp in general. Some things are just more relevant to physics (or astrophysics, for that matter) than say, mathematics. That is why we need this article. Ema--or (talk) 00:58, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
