If Kim Jong-un logged on to Wikipedia and wrote that North Korean nuclear bombs spawn rainbows and unicorns on detonation, what purpose would it serve to assume his good faith?

If you find yourself unable to assume good faith about another user's actions, then at least don't assume bad faith. You can still give the benefit of the doubt by simply not assuming, one way or another.[1]

  1. ^ And don't forget; Assuming is making an Alan out of you and me!
