Rijndael encryption algorithm

Rijndael is a symmetric-key block cipher, designed by Joan Daemen and Vincent Rijmen. After a competition Rijndael was selected as the successor to DES as the US Federal Advanced Encryption Standard (FIPS-197) block cipher for the protection of sensitive information.
