RadioBOSS is a radio automation software developed by DJSoft.net. RadioBOSS makes it easy and fast to build playlists with advertising support, hourly blocks, rotations, crossfading, automatic leveling and other professional-level features. It can be used for FM and Internet radio stations, at clubs, casinos, shops, hotels. RadioBOSS features clean and intuitive user interface.[1][2]
History
Development started in 2003 as playout automation system for a local FM radio station. Short history showing how the project was started and reached its current state:
- version 1.0 (2003) - First public release. Not very successful; most of the original development team members decided to leave the project.
- RadioBOSS 2.1 (2005) - Software name changed to RadioBOSS. Released version 2.1, the first version to earn user interest.
- RadioBOSS 2.8 (2007) - Added features useful for Internet radio stations.
- RadioBOSS 4.0 (2009) - Software divided into editions (Express, Standard, Advanced), redesigned user interface, new major features added.
