Prefix ordering redirects to this article. What does it mean? Thanks, --Abdull (talk) 20:26, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Non-character sequences?
Is there a word for "substring" that doesn't have connotations of "character string" to computing people?
If S1 and S2 are abstract sequences, the problem is that the word "subsequence" is already taken and has a different meaning.
Maybe "consecutive subsequence?"

We can also refer to sequences as consecutive collection of objects attached by a string. Why not consider elevating the definition of string to not only be limited to chars but also include bytes, other value types, objects, and structures? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Antonio "Atoi" V. de Jesus III (talk • contribs) 09:33, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
String border
This is a terrible example for string border. There's an ambiguity as the example used is a palindrome. Please try a different example. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:630:40:F00:0:0:F:103 (talk) 17:33, 22 April 2017 (UTC)
The example shows an overlapping border. Maybe further sub-classification of borders is needed. I propose to edit this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Antonio "Atoi" V. de Jesus III (talk • contribs) 09:38, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
