The Detroit Artist Village is located in Old Redford on Detroit's northwest side in the african american community. Opening it's doors in 2010 to serves as a nonprofit community as is a project of Motor City Blight Busters. The mission is to be a creative center for the community.

Artist Village is a project of Motor City Blight Busters who worked for the beautification of Detroit helping to destroy blight by resorting the community with Art, Education, there is a cafe, and a open loft studio spaces where the people of the community can learn and create and share artistically.

The place is a community rehabilitation project
