The European Foundation for Landscape Architecture (EFLA) is the professional organization for landscape architecture in Europe. It represents the interests of the profession at a European scale and most particularly to the European Union and the Council of Europe. Membership of EFLA is open to European national professional associations of the landscape architects. Established in 1989, it operates a landscape architecture school recognition system, talks to the European Commission, is particularly concerned with the Council of Europe's European Landscape Convention, and organises various seminars and conferences. It publishes a quarterly web based newsletter and is based in Brussels, Belgium.
