CIXF-FM is a Canadian radio station broadcasting at 101.1 FM in Brooks, Alberta. The station broadcasts an adult hits format branded as Boom 101.1 and is owned by Newcap Radio.
History
The station received CRTC approval on December 19, 2003 and was launched in 2005 as 101.1 The Fox originally with a classic hits format.[1]
In late 2010 or early 2011, the station changed to a hot adult contemporary format as "The One" or "The One at 101.1". In July 2017, the station changed its format to adult hits and rebranded as "Boom 101.1".
