--66.166.215.66 23:37, 14 September 2006 (UTC)I would like to request the Hazeltine Printer Light be added to your database. The Hazeltine is an analyzing console used for determining what grade of color and density should be applied to the printing of a distinct length of negative. (source: http://www.ascmag.com/magazine_dynamic/September2006/DigiPrinterLights/page1.php). It uses mirrors and filters to regulate the three basic colors (red, green & blue), each one corresponding to a scale from 0-50 points. Referred to as a "printer light," this combination of percentages is expressed with three numbers that indicate the amounts of each (i.e.: 25-25-25).
As it remains remains a standard part of the process by which photochemically based projects marked for theatrical release are printed (source: http://www.ascmag.com/magazine_dynamic/September2006/DigiPrinterLights/page1.php), I would like to request it. Thanks you in advance for your time and consideration.

- Balfour's LawSimilar to corollary of Godwin's Law; statesthat when a jewish or israel thread takes place in which a person states that israel should never have existed in the first place, they lose the argument and the thread is over.If Godwin's law is violated simultaneously, the user is subject to a barrage of abuse in any thread they post in, even in other forums.Legend foretells that there will come a third law which, when violated in conjunction with the first two, will result in the immediate bannination of the user from the forum.

MartinMan is the name of a legendary internet nascar message board user, the name was born in October of 2005 but it unclear when or what exact time it was created, the world will truly never know for sure.
MartinMan can be found in almost every internet nascar message board known to man he's even a member of this web site and is a member of a well known nascar message board called Speed Zone, altough he does not have a position of power there due to the board's ruthless dictorial administrator ZebFAN06 he still helps out with updating the site when needed.
Now The Inside Groove is a place where MartinMan has a position of power. He helps keep the board updated with lot's of daily nascar news from the internet nascar "silly season" web site Jayski.com.

This is the page to suggest webcomic articles you would like to see and would like someone to write. (If you want to write the article yourself, just go for it; you don't need to post about it here.) To add a suggestion just edit this page.
Please:
- only suggest articles that may meet the general notability guidelines.
- add any sources on the subject you can find, to demonstrate notability and help the writer get started

Video games
![]() | This page has a backlog that requires the attention of willing editors. Please remove this notice when the backlog is cleared. |
This page is a list of video game-related topics for which editors have requested articles be created. Any editor can submit, review, or otherwise help manage requests. There are currently ' requests on this page and 342' archived requests.
Before placing a request, be advised of the following:
- Only add requests for notable topics. Subjects require significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject for articles to be created. Requests must include external links to multiple reliable sources that prove its notability. See WP:VG/RS for more information about reliable sources for video games.
- Do not place requests with insufficient sources in hopes for more sources to be found later. If a topic does not have enough right now, it should not be added. Do not use this page as a source aggregator.
- Do not place requests for remasters, compilations, or expansions. Though there are exceptions, these topics are usually better discussed in articles about the original games. Add sources to those articles' talk pages instead.
- Most requests are never fulfilled. If you look at old revisions of this page, you will notice that many requests still have red links. (2017, 2014) There are also hundreds of requests that have been archived due to no action being taken on them. Requests can sit for several years before being assessed, and any editor may remove a request from the list if they deem it not notable. If you really want to see an article made, it is a better idea to make it yourself.
- Old requests are archived. In an effort to keep the list manageable, games that do not have substantial coverage beyond reviews and release information will be moved to an archive if the request is not acted upon within a year. The intent is to limit the list to new requests, and topics that are highly notable and should be prioritized. Requests in the archive can still be reviewed for creation as any other request. Before placing a request, ensure it is not in the archive list. If new substantial material is published for a topic in the archive, it can be moved back to this page.
Instructions
- To add a new entry:
- Read the "Before placing a request..." section at the top of this page.
- Follow the technical instructions at the bottom of the list (hidden in article source, you will need to be in edit mode to see)
- Optional: Sign your request (with 3 tildes), as it will help you get notified as to your request's fate
- To review a request:
- Review the links provided to determine if GNG has been met.
- If GNG is met, take the sources and create an article at the appropriate article name. If it is not met, determine if there is possibly a better location, or target article to discuss the subject, and merge into there. It is possible there may be no place to merge and the request should just be canceled.
- If you know who placed the request, send them a message letting them know what you did with the request
- Remove the entry from the list.
- Move old requests to archives:
- Requests should be moved to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Requests/Archive if both these conditions are met:
- Has been listed here for at least 1 year
- The sources provided do not demonstrate sustained, significant coverage. (Typically meaning the sources only consist of release information, reviews, and previews. They lack development information, staff interviews, retrospective coverage, or other analysis.)
- Requests on the archive page can still be assessed and created like any request on the main page.
- Requests should be moved to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Requests/Archive if both these conditions are met:

- Cretan Mediterranean-style diet
- The Seven Country Study found that Cretan men had exceptionally low death rates from heart disease, despite moderate to high intake of fat. The Cretan diet is similar to other traditional Mediterranean diets: consisting mostly of olive oil, bread, abundant fruit and vegetables, a moderate amount of wine and a small amount of animal products. However, the Cretan diet consisted of less fish and wine consumption than some other Mediterranean-style diets, such as the diet in Corfu, another region of Greece, which had higher death rates.[citation needed]
- The Lyon Heart Study set out to mimic the Cretan diet, but adopted a pragmatic approach. Realizing that some of the people in the study would be reluctant to move from butter to olive oil, they used a margarine based on rapeseed (canola) oil. The dietary change also included 20% increases in vitamin C rich fruit and bread and decreases in processed and red meat. On this diet, mortality from all causes was reduced by 70%. This study was so successful that the ethics committee decided to stop the study prematurely so that the results of the study could be made available to the public immediately.

Hyper Cuisine
"Scientific" or "hypermodern" cuisine, a style of cooking from industrial food preparation but with an eye towards gourmet preparation. Technology Review reported on HyperCuisine at the following link: http://www.technologyreview.com/read_article.aspx?id=14824&ch=infotech Examples of this style of cooking are: "sous vide" (in French "under vacuum") where thte food is vacuum-packed in plastic bags (called Cryovacking), and then cooked in warm water at low temperatures, often for very long periods.
