Development and Justice Party of Islamic Iran[2] or Islamic Iran Development and Justice Party[3] (Template:Lang-fa) is a conservative[4] political party in Iran, with a claimed goal of "increasing public participation in politics".[3]
Mohsen Rezai is the man behind the party, which is mainly comprised of Revolutionary Guard commanders who served in the Iran-Iraq War.[2] His brother Omidvar Rezai is said to have a leading role in the party.[4] Other senior members include Reza Talaei-Nik (former Secretary-General), Kamal Daneshyar and Amir-Ali Amiri.[3] The party backed Mohsen Rezai for president in 2009[4] and 2013.
