Is it true that

$\operatorname {adj} (A\cdot B)=\operatorname {adj} (B)\cdot \operatorname {adj} (A)$

for any two n-by-n matrices A and B? It works at least for n=1,2 and for all invertible matrices of any size. AxelBoldt 21:44 Mar 29, 2003 (UTC)
