Sputnik 1 EMC/EMI is Lab model of Sputnik 1. Made to test ground Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (AMI) testing. While there are only three known EMC/EMI lab models.

  • Manufacturer: OKB-1 and NII-885 (head of the team Mikhail Ryazansky[1])
  • Introduction: February 15, 1957.
  • Number build: 3 (private U. S. collection[2] serial numbers 002 and 003[3]), Serial Number 001: Russia
