This Article Shouldn't Exist

CFScript is how people refer to script syntax of CFML, but it is not a distinct language and doesn't need a distinct page. I'd start a merge proposal, but there's nothing really of value in the current page, so I'd probably say it just needs deleting. -- Peter Boughton (talk) 16:10, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This was my immediate reaction as well. I would lean toward it not have its own article, but rather be a section in the ColdFusion Markup Language article. My one hangup is that I'm not sure whether it is the case that it is not a distinct language given the strict definition of a language is the combination of specific syntactic and semantic rules, and as you pointed out this has a different syntax. But even if that is the case, I don't know if that justifies it being notable enough for its own article. -- KamasamaK (talk) 21:35, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
