Fetching Cody is a 2005 drama/science-fiction film written and directed by David Ray. The film takes place in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside and follows the story of Art Frankel (played by Jay Baruchel) as he desperately tries to save his girlfriend Cody Wesson (Sarah Lind) who is in the hospital after an overdose on drugs. Art discovers a time machine and decides to use it to save Cody by attempting to rewrite her past. The film also features local drag queen Robert Kaiser as Sabrina.

Plot

Art (Jay Baruchel) and Cody (Sarah Lind) are going to the hospital by and is concluding the story and is trying to be saved by intruders named Harvey (Jim Byrnes) and then Art Finkel kills a male intruder named Harvey and then saves Cindy and then finds her in a hospital and then lets her leave and then a group of intruders arrive and then Art tells Cody to take cover and then Art kills the intruders and escapes with Cody and then kills the intruders from the car and then they kill them on the road and gets to the house and then kills the intruders and Black members behind them and then checks out the yard and then goes in the house to keep warm and then sleeps and then wakes up and leaves the house and takes a picture and then turns off the camera. At Cody's apartment Art goes inside and then checks on Cody about the day she is doing and doing just fine and then Art goes to his car and then drives to the gargae and then has a group of intruders and then kills them and drives off the ramp and into the back of the store and then has a group of Black members and then kills them and finds a good guy named Holden (Lucas Blaney) and his boyfriend Sudden (Neil Dennis) and then takes them to a shop and then they go inside and then he drives to the park and then checks in the park and then leaves. At the bar Art tells Cody a single story about how fair its being good and tight or right about everything and then Art leaves and then Art drives to the beach and then has a group of Trigger two gangs and then kills them coming and then has a group of Goons and then kills them and then finds a bad guy named David Helmet Yar and then follows him to a house and then kills him and then takes a check from the house and takes a bucket of water and drops it on David and then the water spills on David where he was killed and then returns to Cody and then gets in the car with her. At the Machine Art goes to find a car and then drives it to the mansion and then finds Mrs. Wesson and then finds Cody and then says to Young Cody about being young and then Cody is telling Art what to find and then finds a group of Burglars and then kills them and then escapes with Cody and Mr. Wesson and then takes Mr. Wesson into the storage unit and then he goes inside and then Art says to Cody great job today. During a spray check Art drives to the house with sprays to find a bad guy named Sabrina and then he kills him and has a group of hobos and then kills them and then escapes the place and then drives away to the house. During a radiator chase Art drives up the canyon and finds out that a good person named Sam is telling him to find my crude members and then locate them and then Art drives to the place and then finds the crude members and then kills them and then calls Sam and then Sam looks at him to talk.

At the expedition zone Art loOKs around and finds Cody and then she talks to him about going and then finds Santa and drives with him and then Art and Cody takes Santa to a resort and then finds the marine naval members and then kills them and then drives to the ferry station and then finds the intruders and then kills them and then makes the escape and then kills the Marine naval members and then kills them and leaves and then gets to the basketball court to check it out. During a route Art routes the truck and drives the truck and then goes to the branch and then finds a group of Killers and then kills them and leaves them dead and then escapes and then gets to the truck and then escapes en route. During a documentation Art uses a computer and then logs in and finds a class to log into and then goes to the school and then follows Rose to the classroom and then works on a computer in the office and then does the test and completes it and then Rose tells her have a good day Art. Art goes to the car and then finds a car door with a 2-door sedean on the car and then finds a group of black members and then kills them and then retrieves the car with a 2-door Sedean and takes it to the lockup and then exits the lockup. At the house Art interrupts the story with Rose and Nurse Sam finds a car and then walks in and goes to the garbage can and gets a gun and then picks it up and goes to the recycling center and finds the marine naval members and then kills them and then goes through it and then kills them all through the recycling center and then has a group of black members and then kills them and then escapes in a car to the safe. Art goes to the factory and then meets Chara and then follows her through the factory in a tour and then follows her to the computer and then leaves the tour and then completes it.

During an overall Art finds Paramedic 1 and Paramedic 2 to know there are male intruders coming and then Art kills the intruders and then finds the black members and then kills them and retrieves a car and then takes it to the tunnel and then parks it. At the stadium Art finds a security guard who is bad and then Art gets out a gun and shoots Security guard dead and then finds a group of black members and then kills them and then kills them outside the stadium and then gets out. Art finds Cody and Girl 1 and Girl 2 and then takes them to old school and then has a group of black members and then Cody kills them and then leaves. During a trailer check Art and Cody goes to the van and then finds School Principal and Freckled Boy and then the Chinese arrive and then Art kills them and then guides them to safety and then escapes. At the bar Art and Cody has a group of Hendricks members and then kills them and finds a bad guy named Tourist 1 and then kills him and then finds Dog Messer and Soccer dude and then gets them in safe. Art and Cody drives to a store and then has a group of mobsters and then kills them and then escapes. Art and Cody goes to the exchange point and finds a group of mobsters and then kills them and then gets in the car fast. In the final scene Art and Cody finds a way to escape and then they have a group of Black members and Naval Members and then kills them and finds the intruders and then kills them and then makes the escape and then gets to the car and then escapes with Cody. In the ending scene Art and Cody has a good time about the relation they had and then posts it to publish the fetching idea and then collects it to Cody.
