Hippolyte d'Ursel

Marie Hippolyte Adrien Ludovic, Count d'Ursel (Brussels, 17 November 1850 - 9 December, 1937) was a Belgian nobleman and politician.

Family

Cadet member of the House of Ursel, grand son of Charles, 2nd Duke of Ursel,[1] he held the rank of Count d´Ursel. He married Georgine de Rouillé (1859-1926). He held the political office of member of the Chamber (1894-1900) and sénateur for Bruxelles (1905-1908) for the Catholic Party. He was honoured in the D'Ursel Point.

Count d'Ursel was historian and wrote several works, on family history and Belgium.[2]
